War mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und habe zuvor noch nie ein Hostel gebucht. Hatte Glück, und der 10-Personen-Schlafsaal war nicht zu voll 😉. Lage: ziemlich gut, Sauberkeit top (das Altstadt-Haus ist frisch renoviert), Service bzw. die Rezeptions-Mitarbeiterin, die mich am Abend begrüßt hat: phänomenal!!! (die Kollegin vom Frühdienst hat gesagt, sie heißt Bea). Tolle Empfehlungen für Bratislava am Abend, und auch für Komarno, mein nächstes Etappen-Ziel. Ich genieße z.B. gerade die Atmosphäre am Europaplatz dort 🙂

I recently stayed at this hostel and had a generally positive experience. We booked a 4-person room and were lucky enough to share it with two extremely respectful guests on the first night, and then had the room to ourselves for the remaining nights. The lockers provided in the bedroom were a huge plus, being perfectly sized to fit all of our belongings securely.

However, there were some significant issues concerning the behavior of other guests that detracted from our stay. Despite clear signs prohibiting smoking, people were smoking on the balconies on our floor. Additionally, the shared bathrooms were mixed-gender, and unfortunately, some guests didn't behave appropriately—overweight men walking around half-naked, shaving in their underwear, or roaming the corridors dressed inappropriately. This kind of behavior is not only uncomfortable but also unacceptable, especially considering that young girls are also staying in the hostel. These such men are then also barefoot laying asleep on the couches making themselves at home although they have their own rooms Strict enforcement of the rules is necessary to ensure a respectful and pleasant environment for everyone.

On a brighter note, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly Bee at reception. She is one of the most helpful, smart, and kind people we’ve met during our travels. Her passion for Bratislava’s history, along with her excellent recommendations and detailed annotated maps, truly made our trip special. Thank you, Bee, for enhancing our stay in Bratislava!

We had a very bad experience at this hostel. Even though we booked a long time ago, we had to wait over an hour for the room to be ready. When we finally got the room, it was not clean, and neither were the bathroom or common areas.

The hostel didn’t have enough locker keys for everyone and gave us only one key for three people, which was very unsafe that we could not put our bags to lock. On top of that, we didn’t feel safe during the night, as the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable.

I do not recommend this hostel, especially for female travelers.

Bola by som zvedavá, či v Bratislave existuje za cenu 14 eur na noc čistejšie a krajšie ubytovanie...Za mňa spokojnosť-1.prisla som o 22.30,ale na recepcii je stále milý a šikovný chlapec2.da sa platiťaj v hotovosti...3.,kupelne,aj celý hostel moderný ,čistý, izby priestranné,,,áno,z ulice nočné zvuky počuť, ale za takú cenu je to stále nadstandart...4.vyborna poloha,všetko je blízko...5.vybavenie kuchyne,aj spoločenská miestnosť ma milo prekvapila

Most horrible hostel experience ever. Location is the only thing that is alright. Price is terrible for what is offered, unsafety feeling, creepy environment (people sleeping in lobby, missing keys, dirty common areas...), got 1 medium size locker for 3 people, beds with stains and dusty rooms. The heating was also scarce...

Never again, booked a hotel after the first night for 15€ more per person per night.

Had a very pleasant stay here.

City tax can be waived if you are a student, so my price was about 3 euros cheaper. You can pay 1 euro for a towel or 7 euros for laundry. They accept card or cash.
The bathrooms and showers are clean and the lockers are spacious.
The only "issue" I ran into was someone was sleeping on my bed when I came in. The beds have numbers that correspond to your locker. No worries, I just slept in a different empty one. Maybe adding velcro numbers that can be swapped as people move into the rooms could assist so that if people want a certain bed they can claim it when they first walk in the room. Thank you for the otherwise lovely experience.

I'd say it's a solid 3+.

Pros:
* nice bedsheets (+ no need to make the bed),
* location (close to the Nivy bus station + mall, and close to Tesco),
* helpful staff,
* free lockers inside the rooms,
* decent bathrooms + showers.

Cons:
* the door in my room wouldn't close (bad for room security, but they do have cameras),
* light in the bathrooms turns off after 30 seconds,
* bed lights are too bright (big issue) + no bed curtains,
* no shelf for your phone/other devices (there's NOWHERE to put them if you have the top bunk bed),
* some guests would not respect others' sleep unless you told them,
* there were many Indian/Pakistani truck drivers (not tourists) who seemed to have formed their own ghetto,
* there were a couple false fire alarms, including one early in the morning.

Overall, I'd say it wasn't really worth the price. I spent 5 nights there and I paid €18 a night, and it felt like a €10/night place.

Удобно расположен недалеко от автовокзала. До центра и исторических достопримечательностей можно дойти пешком или на общественном транспорте. Хостел большой 4 этажа. Санузлы и душевые на каждом этаже. На первом этаже есть кухня и общая зона с диванами
